Malleable Iron Fittings Suitable for Use with Drinking Water. Crane kitemarked fittings are deemed to satisfy the requirements of the United Kingdom Water Regulations (Byelaws). Material: Crane malleable iron is of the Blackheart type ideally suited to pipe fitting and manufacture and conforms to BSEN1562 Designation EN-GJMB-300-6, ASTM A197 and ISO 5922. Galvanised Finish: Hot dip zinc coated (galvanised) prior to machining. Coating conforms to BSEN ISO1461 1998 and ASTM 153. Thread: Taper threads to BS21 (ISO 7). Media: Suitable for transfer or flow of water, steam, gas and other non aggressive media. BSI Kitemark approved. PN25.
